The 22nd Audit & Examination Committee (AEC) Meeting was held on 7 September 2026 at the Binuang Estate Meeting Room, bringing together members of the AEC and the Management of Benta Wawasan Sdn. Bhd. (BWSB).
The meeting was chaired by Datuk Joshua Ho Yee En, JP, Chairman of the AEC, and attended by AEC members Tuan Haji Pondren Nawa and Tuan Wong Len Kee, together with En. Waky Bin Taim, AEC Secretary.
Representing BWSB were Datuk Haji Karim bin Haji Abdul Wahid, Chief Executive Officer; Tuan Rizan Hardinata bin Haji Baba, General Manager; Puan Agnes Chee Shuk Vui, Financial Controller; Tuan Marting bin Kiker, OIC, Internal Audit Department; Puan Norlina binti Ijolu, OIC, Benta Edible Oil Sdn. Bhd.; and Cik Nurfazliana binti Hassanudin, Executive, Internal Audit Department.
Prior to the commencement of the meeting, the delegation conducted a field visit to the Year of Planting (YOP) 2007 area at Binuang Estate. The visit provided an opportunity for the committee members to observe field conditions and gain further insight into operational activities at the estate.
Following the conclusion of the AEC Meeting, the delegation proceeded to Seraya Palm Oil Mill (SPOM), where they were briefed by the Mill Manager before undertaking a tour of several key operational areas, including the Sterilizer Site, Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) Press and Boiler Room.
The combination of the meeting and operational site visits provided the AEC members with valuable first-hand exposure to BWSB’s estate and mill operations, complementing the Committee’s oversight responsibilities and enhancing its understanding of the Company’s operational environment.
