Celebrating Our People, Strengthening Our Bonds
In conjunction with Workers’ Day 2026, Benta Wawasan Sdn. Bhd. (BWSB) organised its Workers’ Day Celebration on 1 May 2026 at the Seraya Estate Football Field, bringing together employees and their families for a memorable day of camaraderie, appreciation and friendly competition.
The celebration was officially launched by Pn. Agnes Chee Shuk Vui, Financial Controller of BWSB, marking the start of a lively programme dedicated to recognising the commitment and contributions of BWSB employees across its operations.
The event commenced with a colourful march-past by participating contingents, showcasing creativity, discipline and strong team spirit. Workers proudly represented their respective estates and teams, creating a vibrant atmosphere and setting the tone for the day’s activities.
More than just a sporting and recreational event, the celebration provided an opportunity for employees, workers and their families to come together beyond the workplace. Various activities and friendly competitions encouraged teamwork, strengthened relationships and promoted a sense of belonging among the BWSB community.
Adding to the excitement was the competition for the overall championship title. Merbau Estate emerged as the Overall Champion for the second consecutive year, successfully defending its title and demonstrating remarkable teamwork and competitive spirit.
The Workers’ Day celebration reflected BWSB’s appreciation for its workforce and acknowledged the important role the workers play in the Company’s continued growth and success. It also reinforced the values of teamwork, unity, mutual respect and togetherness that remain integral to the organisation.
BWSB extends its sincere appreciation to the organising committee, management team, participating estates, employees, workers and family members whose enthusiastic participation and support contributed to the success of the event.
