BWSB, is managed by a Board of Directors which is responsible for policy planning and decision making. It is day to day operation , headed by a Chief Executive Officer who is supported by Chief Operating Officer and 278 staff and almost 3437 of workers.

Current Status
The plantation development programme initiated by Benta Wawasan is processing well. At the end of 2009, some 15,453 hectares of oil palm were developed in 10 estates as stated above.
The total planted hectareage for oil palm will be increased to 30,000 hectares over the next 4 years. The existing 14,409 hectares of Tree Plantation area will be converted into oil palm plantation.
BWSB is currently pursuing the establishment of its first Crude Palm Oil (CPO) processing mill and expected to be operational by mid of 2013.
The plantation programme has also focused on all aspects of employee's good working environment and welfare and this is an important step in the right direction for any organization to succeed. The construction of office buildings, employee's quarters, mosques, kindergartens, dispensaries and other basic amenities, are intensively carried out throughout the estates.
